My Philosophy

Generally my Life Philosophy is to give the best I can to everything I do, my Clients, Community, Environment and to the Profession of Architecture, not to mention to my Family.

My Architectural Philosophy is that all design should respect its Neighbour, the Environment and provide Joy to all.

All Building Designs need to reflect a Sense of Place, a Belonging, same as the Sydney Opera House is to Sydney Harbour and the Bridge, now part of the Australian Culture. It is about good design not money, bad design can cost the same if not more.

A building firstly has a purpose, a Shelter, a Function which is followed very closely by Aesthetics. The Art is to achieve both simultaneously.

Therefore, I subscribe to the notion of Form Follows Function, allowing the function to help create the form, in that there is harmony and understanding.
